• Do I need to know Python to be able to work with XPRESS?
No. You would be able to work with XPRESS if you Know HTML and if you are familiar with programming syntax. -
• Do I need to Install Python?
XPRESS is based on Python so it needs Python to run. But almost all hosting companies have Python preinstalled. If not you can ask them to do so. -
• What else do I need to run XPRESS?
Nothing! XPRESS does not depend on any other program or package and works independently. You can use XPRESS with any OS, any DB and any web server. It is up to you. -
• What stack do you recommend?
For medium and large projects: Linux + Mysql+ Apache For giant projects: FreeBSD + Postgresql +Nginx But as mentioned before choose what you are more comfortable with. -
• Why did you choose Python and not other programming languages?
We had been programming with Java, PHP and even .net for several years and we knew all these languages very well, but we felt that for this project we need something more powerful. We did a 2 month research and finally we decided to go with Python not just because its current state but also because of the glorious future which we expect it is going to reach. -
• Can you help me developing my site with XPRESS?
Unfortunately no. all of time is devoted to extending XPRESS. -
• What if I pay?
No again. But don’t worry. You will soon find companies and freelancers who would like to help you with XPRESS. -
